Chris Lavenson
Vice President of Marketing and Market Expansion
Chris began acquiring business acumen at the age of 17, when he
independently started and operated CommSol, a payphone route that
serviced Charleston, SC airports and bus stations. This paved the
foundation for multiple entrepreneurial efforts throughout his undergraduate
studies at the College of Charleston, where he graduated with a Bachelors
Degree in Business Administration & Economics. Chris was the
founding president of the College of Charleston chapter of Alpha
Kappa Psi, Professional Business Fraternity and voted Entrepreneur
of the Year by The School of Entrepreneurship.
In 2001, a business plan written during his undergraduate studies
became the backbone of a proprietary Print on Demand publishing company
which was recently acquired by Amazon.com. The value of leveraging
technology in a business environment proved to be an excellent use
of his talents and continued to be a theme and asset in future interests.
A life changing experience inspired Chris to relocate to Louisville,
KY in order to work with Lithgow Industries, an offshore manufacturing
and wholesale distribution start-up company. In his role as National
Sales and Marketing Manager, Chris traveled domestically and internationally
for two years gaining priceless international business and marketing
experience. To supplement his real world experience he attended the
Sullivan University Executive MBA program while working on independent
product sourcing projects.
In 2005, Chris joined Advanced Solutions as the Marketing Manager.
His intellectual horsepower, entrepreneurial spirit, and diverse
experience in marketing small companies with growth ambitions, was
a natural fit. In his tenure with Advanced Solutions, Chris has chartered
an Inside Sales Team, revitalized an 18 year old brand, chaired acquisitions
Integration Committees, and contributed in overall business planning.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys exotic travel adventures, restoring
classic cars, boats and motorcycles, and working on old houses.
